Omnilineas offers booking services for bus travel in Argentina and provides an information system with bus schedules and ticket prices that is freely available on this webpage. In addition we present travel tips and other general information in order to help with planning your trip, and we are happy to answer further questions when you contact us.
Our objective is to provide an easy and secure way of booking transport tickets in advance. To this end we offer a standardized sales process that allows you to book your trip in a convenient way and make a secure online payment with your credit card. Before departure you then pick up the bus tickets in our office that is favorably located in the center of Buenos Aires.
Bus Travel Information
Omnilineas provides an information system for bus travel in Argentina and maintains a database of regular bus connections which is frequently updated. We typically include data from all bus companies operating at the main bus terminal "Retiro" in Buenos Aires. Information on services starting in other terminals in the interior of the country is currently not displayed online, but is readily available during a sales process.
We aim at improving market transparency for the benefit of anyone looking for an overview of available travel options. In order to help planning a trip we provide time schedules and pricing information in a standardized form and keep track of the more than 100 registered bus companies in Retiro. We aggregate public information as provided by the individual companies on their official websites and regularly verify schedules and prices by calling the respective ticket offices.
The companies are required to classify all bus services according to five comfort categories, and we present this information in order to indicate comfort levels. It is important to note that even within the same category significant differences in the quality of services may exist, which may explain possible price differences. For details on specific services we recommend to contact us or to directly ask the bus companies. For legal reasons we do not display rankings of companies or attribute additional quality scores, and we are committed to present all public information in a strictly objective and neutral way.
Booking your tickets
Omnilineas offers a convenient way to book your tickets in advance and facilitates secure online payments per credit card. The main restriction is that you will need to pick up your bus tickets in our office in central Buenos Aires before your trip, i.e. we only offer our service to clients who start their trip in Buenos Aires.
On the one hand the sales procedure is rather streamlined and is meant to provide an easy and efficient way of buying transport tickets in advance. When you already know exactly what you want, we will book your trip in a fast and reliable manner.
On the other hand the procedure is not completely automated so that you can get some personal advice and clarify a few questions before booking. Within a sales process we can also give you recommendations on choosing the right companies and share the feedback of previous travellers.
